Tonight we had a meeting about all the different details we need for the trip. I can't believe that its almost time! I cannot wait to get back over there. For those of you who don't know, I went on the same trip last year and had so much fun, met incredible people and built awesome relationships, that I have had the oppertunity to build over facebook this year. I am starting to pack and figure out what I need to buy and what I don't. Rain boots are a MUST!!! It rains 24/5 there lol. Well I'm headed to bed.

a little boy thats praying :D
Hey Everyone!
Noah is 5 and just started kindergarten. I have helped his sister for about 4 years who has autism. Noah and his family have supported me several times on my mission trips. This year in Sparks Noah put me down as his "Missionary to pray for". Noah is so sweet and I'm glad to know such a sweet boy and his family is praying for me and the team!

Garage Sale...SUCCESS!!!
Saturday was our Annual Mission Trip Fundraiser Garage Sale. We ask for donations, so we that we have a HUGE sale. We get anything from toys and clothes to furniture and TVs.
Its a great way for people to be a part of the mission who can't give financially. The first of a few friends to stop by were my second family. The Walls, who are also going to Ireland. I nanny/live with them during the summer ;-). They have to precious boys:D.
Around lunch things got really slow and boring so we started taking pictures. This is what we got...
some^slackers lol JK everyone worked VERY hard!
Later that after noon our friend Beth Sanders and her daughters Lolly, Kaymie and another little girl they were babysitting Aiden, came with Lays potato chips and Dr Pepper! Our friend Rita and her mom also stopped by :D
| they are best friends lol |
Over all it was a very successful garage sale. We raised $645!!!!!

AHHHHHH
So for the past two weeks we have been collecting stuff for my garage sale. This is one of the best ways to raise money. People who can't donate financially, can contribute items for the g-sale and the there is always the garage sale hunters lol. So the g-sale is tomorrow so please pray it goes well and I get a lot of money from the sale!
AND I have raised $1,635!!!!! So now I only need to raise $800!!!
So Ann and I are in charge of 3D night (dinner, DVD and discussion). Which means we have to come up with discussion questions for the Adjustment Bureau =)

Progress update and things to be praying for...
We had another meeting last for planning and we got a little more detailed schedule from our team leader, Tom who is also our Missions Pastor :) Things you can be praying for will be in BOLD print :)
The Saturday or Sunday after we get there, we will be holding a Fall Festival type night for the community, since we will be there right around Halloween. We are hoping to get bounce houses, games, candy and everything else you see at a Fall Festival. Pray that God will give us the energy to keep going after a 10 hour flight. And that we would correctly promote God and Galway City Church.
We are doing the church service for Galway City Church this year, since we were not able to that last year. We are doing the worship service, sermon and childcare so that all the adults can come to the service.
We are also doing three days of community outreach, starting Tuesday(25th) with a conference for Galway City Church on parenting and marriage. Wednesday will be our 3D night. Dinner, DVD and Discussion. This is for their University students, so I am very excited about this, because I will meet people around my age. Friday will be another conference, but I'm not sure what the topics will be for that one and this conference is for the community. Please pray for the discussion time we have at the 3D night and the rest of conferences.
We will end our trip with my personal favorite from last year, the Family Retreat. This retreat is for the families of Galway City Church. This is 4 days and 24 hours with these parents and their children, many of which I can NOT wait to see again. Our theme last year was God's Love for us. This years theme is Loving One Another. I am so excited I cannot contain myself at times! This is such a great opportunity to minister to these families and get to know them. Please for the families and that God would provide the money for them to attend this retreat.
Also be praying for Jason Post as he flys back to Ireland tomorrow. For the leadership team there that they would be able accomplish what is need for our trip and the church, that God would bring more people there.
